\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAND THE WEATHER IS COOPERATING. A LITTLE COOLER THAN NORMAL, BUT COULD BE A SCORCHER. YEAH. AND, YOU KNOW, THE WIND WON\u2019T BE AS ROUGH TODAY, BUT I\u2019D ADVISE IF YOU ARE GOING TO SOME OF THOSE LATER CEREMONIES, GRAB A JACKET, HAVE A LAYER HANDY BECAUSE ONCE THE SUN GOES DOWN, IT DOES HAVE A LITTLE NIP IN THE AIR TO IT. HERE\u2019S A LIVE LOOK FOR YOU IN LAKE TAHOE. I\u2019M SURE A LOT OF FOLKS FLOCKED THERE OVER THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND. NOW IT\u2019S TUESDAY, WHICH FEELS PROBABLY MORE LIKE A MONDAY. SCATTERED CLOUDS HERE ACROSS THE HIGH COUNTRY. AND THESE CLOUDS ARE BIG SIGNAL OF CHANGE. I DO ANTICIPATE THAT WHILE STILL BREEZY TO GUSTY THIS MORNING IN THE TRUCKEE AND TAHOE BASIN, WE\u2019LL EXPECT THOSE WINDS TO GRADUALLY START TO EASE DURING THE DAY. TODAY IT\u2019S 46 RIGHT NOW IN TRUCKEE. 56 WAKING UP MODESTO 55 IN STOCKTON AND 54 IN SACRAMENTO. AND YEAH, LOOK, IT\u2019S STILL GUSTY HERE WITH GUSTS CLOCKED IN AT 45MPH. SOUTH LAKE TAHOE AIRPORT. IT\u2019S BEEN GUSTY THERE PRETTY MUCH ALL MORNING AND THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS NOW ACROSS THIS YEAR BECAUSE OF THE WIND AND THE CLOUDS, YOU\u2019RE ACTUALLY A LITTLE BIT WARMER WHERE THERE\u2019S NOT AS MUCH CLOUD COVER OR WIND. IT\u2019S ABOUT 5 TO 11 DEGREES COOLER FOR YOU. WAKING UP IN AUBURN AND PLACERVILLE ACROSS THE VALLEY. TEMPERATURES ARE ACTUALLY UP JUST A HAIR BECAUSE OF SOME OF THE CLOUD COVER AROUND. NOW, SOME OF THESE CLOUDS ARE TOUCHING DOWN AND TOUCHING OFF A COUPLE OF ISOLATED SHOWERS. PRETTY MUCH NOT CONFIDENT THAT THAT\u2019S ALL ACTUALLY REACHING THE GROUND, BUT IT COULD JUST BE SOME VIRGA. SO ENOUGH MOISTURE IN THE CLOUDS THAT IT GIVES THE APPEARANCE THAT IT\u2019S ACTUALLY RAINING OR SNOWING. TEMPERATURES WILL STAY BELOW NORMAL THROUGH THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. I\u2019VE GOT UNSETTLED FORECAST TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY AND YES, EVEN SOME SIERRA SNOW IS A POSSIBILITY. THE SYSTEM CONTINUES TO KIND OF STRENGTHEN AND CHURN HERE OVER NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. AND AS IT DOES SO, IT JUST KIND OF DISRUPTS THE ATMOSPHERE A BIT. SO IF YOU ARE IN PLUMAS COUNTY, SIERRA COUNTY OR NEVADA COUNTY, A CHANCE YOU HAVE A RUMBLE OF THUNDER THIS AFTERNOON, WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWER ACTIVITY. IN FACT, YOU CAN SEE HERE FROM SACRAMENTO POINTS SOUTH. COULD WE SEE A STRAY SHOWER POSSIBLE AROUND SONORA OR STOCKTON THIS EVENING? YES, IT IS A POSSIBILITY. I JUST DON\u2019T THINK IT\u2019S GOING TO AMOUNT TO A WHOLE LOT OF BETTER CHANCE WE COULD SEE MORE WIDESPREAD FOOTHILLS, SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AS WE GO INTO THE DAY TOMORROW. HERE\u2019S THIS PIECE OF ENERGY AS IT CONTINUES TO CHURN, IT WILL EVENTUALLY LIFT A LITTLE FURTHER NORTH THURSDAY, BUT STILL A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS IN THE SIERRA. THEN IT COMPLETELY HEADS OFF TO THE EAST BY FRIDAY. SO IN THE WAKE OF IT AGAIN, I\u2019M NOT GOING TO RULE OUT MAYBE SOME SLUSHY SNOW AT THE PASS LEVELS TONIGHT INTO THE DAY TOMORROW IN THE FOOTHILLS. WE\u2019RE GOING TO STAY UNSEASONABLY COOL ALONG WITH THE SIERRA. LOOK AT THE HIGH TOMORROW AND TAHOE 48 DEGREES. AS FOR THE VALLEY, WE\u2019RE GOING TO KEEP IT PRETTY MUCH LOCKED IN THE LOW 70S TODAY AND TOMORROW WE START TO MOVE CLOSER TO THE 80 DEGREE MARK BY FRIDAY, AND WE\u2019LL GET TO THE 80S BY THE WEEKEND. BUT IN GENERAL, ANYTIME YOU CAN SEE 70 FOR THAT LONG STRETCH IN LATE MAY. YEAH\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
