Myles Garrett<\/a>\u2019s blockbuster trade from the Cleveland Browns<\/a> to the Los Angeles Rams<\/a> on Monday made one thing clear: it isn\u2019t good enough just to be in the running for a superstar contributor.<\/p>\n

The Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>, who were viewed as a potential landing spot for Garrett, learned this the hard way, as they failed to entice Cleveland with a trade enticing enough to convince them to send the 30-year-old two-time Defensive Player of the Year.<\/p>\n

The good news for the Eagles is they may be able to pivot to Arizona Cardinals<\/a> edge rusher Josh Sweat<\/a>, who\u2019s been the subject of recent trade rumors. Sweat began his career with the Eagles after a standout career at Florida State, earning a Pro Bowl nod in 2021-22 and winning a Super Bowl with Philadelphia in 2025-26.<\/p>\n

According to the Packer Report\u2019s Easton Butler<\/a>, the Eagles now know the asking price for a potential reunion trade with Sweat.<\/p>\n

\u201cHearing the Cardinals asking price is either a 2nd, or a 3rd+ a Day 3 pick,\u201d Butler wrote on X\/Twitter.<\/p>\n

Sweat\u2019s trade value appears reasonable, as the 29-year-old posted a career-high 12 sacks with the Cardinals last season to go along with 30 tackles, three forced fumbles, and a respectable 74.2 overall Pro Football Focus grade.<\/p>\n

Sweat has also proven to be one of the most durable edge rushers in the league the past few seasons, as he\u2019s only missed three contests since the start of the 2021-22 season.<\/p>\n

If the Eagles are willing to meet the Cardinals\u2019 demands, they could bring Sweat back to Philadelphia for a beneficial reunion.<\/p>\n
