NEWARK, New Jersey (WABC) — <\/span>A flight out of Newark had to return to the airport because a passenger named a Bluetooth device ‘Bomb.’<\/p>\n

In a video, one of the crewmembers was overheard making an announcement saying,<\/p>\n

“We have one passenger that seems to be making a funny joke that isn’t so funny and it’s going to be compromising the safety of this flight.”<\/p>\n

Other passengers say the crew repeatedly asked everyone to turn off their devices.<\/p>\n

The flight was headed to Spain. It turned around about an hour into the trip.<\/p>\n

The pilot said the passenger would be arrested.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
