Last month,\u00a0Stephen Wilson Jr.\u00a0<\/strong>took home his first\u00a0ACM Award\u00a0<\/strong>for\u00a0Visual Media of the Year\u00a0<\/strong>for his official video for\u00a0\u2018Cuckoo\u2019<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0that he co-directed with his longtime creative collaborator\u00a0Tim Cofield<\/strong>. Wilson Jr. released his ninth collaboration with Cofield earlier this year with the\u00a0official video<\/a>\u00a0for \u2018Gary\u2019, which stars award-winning actor\u00a0Gary Sinise<\/strong>\u00a0(Forrest Gump<\/em>,\u00a0Apollo 13<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Wilson Jr. premiered \u2018Gary\u2019 late last year with an\u00a0electrifying performance<\/a>\u00a0on\u00a0Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and also performed it on\u00a0This Past Weekend with Theo Von<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0The Howard Stern Show<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

This weekend, Wilson Jr. will perform at Railbird Music Festival before returning to Nashville on Sunday for a CMA Fest performance at Nissan Stadium. Throughout the rest of the year, he will tour the US and Europe on his headline\u00a0Gary The Torch Tour<\/strong>\u00a0that will culminate with two shows at The Truth in Nashville, TN on December 11 and 12. He will also tour as part of the\u00a0Outlaw Music Festival<\/strong>, and will support\u00a0Dave Matthews Band\u00a0<\/strong>on September 4 at the Gorge Amphitheater and\u00a0Brandi Carlile\u00a0<\/strong>on September 11-13 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
