(WSMV) &#8211; A real estate company is suing MLB player Adam LaRoche and country stars Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean after the sudden closure of their Nashville restaurant. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Village 21 Investment Partners has filed to amend the original lawsuit against the three men, who collectively owned E3 Chophouse at 1628 21st Avenue South. The original lawsuit was filed in Davidson County General Session Court by the Brentwood-based GBT Realty Corporation <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The self-described \u201chigh end, service-driven, fine dining chophouse\u201d has an original location operating in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, that\u2019s owned by LaRoche and his family. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.e3chophousenashville.com\/about-us\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.e3chophousenashville.com\/about-us\/\">restaurant\u2019s website<\/a>, Aldean and Bryan had \u201ctalked for years\u201d about opening their own location in Nashville, an idea that came to fruition in the latter part of 2019. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Then in February, the lawsuit claims, they \u201cstopped paying the monthly rent and abruptly closed the restaurant and ceased operations.\u201d <\/p>\n<div class=\"article-raw-html w-100 mb-3\">\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsmv.com\/page\/our-apps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"https:\/\/cloudfront-us-east-1.images.arcpublishing.com\/gray\/WCZWEBRKNJC6BHZCWR4ZBCEHIA.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cNashville \u2014 we\u2019re hitting pause,&#8221; a message says on the E3 Chophouse Nashville website. \u201cWe\u2019re temporarily pausing operations as we evaluate what Nashville needs next. Our team is assessing market opportunities and exploring potential rebrand and re-concept strategies for the future of this location.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Village 21 says that this sudden closure was a default on their lease agreement. As such, the company is seeking to add an additional claim for breach of the lease guaranty. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThe Guarantors [Bryan, Aldean and LaRoche] guaranteed the performance of Tenant\u2019s obligations under the Lease, including the payment of rent, and agreed to pay the damages, liabilities, and costs, including attorneys\u2019 fees, provided under the Lease resulting from Tenant\u2019s default,\u201d the amended complaint says. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Read the full lawsuit here:<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A judge is expected to hear the motion to amend the company\u2019s complaint on July 10 at 9 a.m. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><i>Copyright 2026 WSMV.
