{"id":35154,"date":"2026-06-23T23:50:01","date_gmt":"2026-06-23T23:50:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trendifyhubusa.com\/index.php\/2026\/06\/23\/bailey-zimmerman-issues-apology-after-facing-charges-for-trashing-local-resort\/"},"modified":"2026-06-23T23:50:01","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T23:50:01","slug":"bailey-zimmerman-issues-apology-after-facing-charges-for-trashing-local-resort","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trendifyhubusa.com\/index.php\/2026\/06\/23\/bailey-zimmerman-issues-apology-after-facing-charges-for-trashing-local-resort\/","title":{"rendered":"Bailey Zimmerman issues apology after facing charges for trashing local resort"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"storyContent\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. \u2013 Country singer Bailey Zimmerman issued an apology statement on Tuesday, after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kob.com\/new-mexico\/bailey-zimmerman-faces-charges-after-16k-hotel-damage-in-bernalillo-county\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">charges were filed<\/a> for an incident said to have caused  $16,000 worth of damage at Sandia Resort &amp; Casino.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Court documents obtained by KOB 4 said investigators accused Zimmerman of trashing his hotel room on May 27 after he canceled his show that evening.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement, Zimmerman said <em>\u201cTo the Pueblo of Sandia and my fans:<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>I want to address the events surrounding my canceled show in New Mexico in May and the reports that have followed.\u00a0 First things first, I want to apologize to the Pueblo of Sandia and to everyone at Sandia Resort &amp; Casino. \u00a0I never meant for any of this to come across as disrespectful. I am deeply sorry for my actions that transpired. I respect your community and the hospitality and appreciate the opportunity that was given to me to perform on Native Land. I take full accountability for everything that happened and I am sorry to anyone who feels hurt or disrespected.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>To my fans who bought tickets and showed up expecting a performance, I am so sorry, you deserved better from me.\u00a0 I understand that being a musician comes with big responsibilities, both on and off stage, and I know that I fell short that day.\u00a0 I am reflecting on the disappointment and concern that I caused.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>I am taking this legal matter seriously. I am committed to doing the work necessary to learn and grow.\u00a0 Thank you to my fans for holding me accountable and for understanding that I am human.\u00a0 I do not take your support for granted.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Bailey Zimmerman\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-what-zimmerman-is-accused-of\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Zimmerman is accused of<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Investigators say Zimmerman played golf with friends that day in May and intentionally burned other men with a cigarette.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Later during sound check, investigators say Zimmerman threw instruments, tripped over himself and shoved band members.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Security footage reportedly shows Zimmerman spitting toward a security officer.
