Veteran forward Kyle Anderson<\/a><\/strong>, an unrestricted free agent, has agreed to a one-year contract with the Raptors<\/strong>, sources tell Shams Charania of ESPN (Twitter link<\/a>).<\/p>\n The final first-round pick (30th overall) in the 2014 draft, Anderson made a total of 43 appearances with Utah, Memphis and Minnesota in 2025\/26. He averaged 6.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 steal in 19.8 minutes per game, similar to his career numbers (6.8 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 2.8 APG, 1.0 SPG in 21.4 MPG).<\/p>\n Anderson has long been an unconventional but effective NBA player. He\u2019s never been much of a shooter, converting just 34.0% of his 1.1 three-point tries per game over his career. However, he\u2019s a solid rebounder, play-maker and defender who has a reputation as a fierce competitor.<\/p>\n Anderson is entering his 13th NBA season and will turn 33 years old before the 2026\/27 campaign begins. He\u2019ll provide depth at forward behind Scottie Barnes<\/a><\/strong> and Kawhi Leonard<\/a><\/strong>, and will likely help mentor 2025 first-round pick Collin Murray-Boyles<\/a><\/strong> and 2026 first-rounder Allen Graves<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n It\u2019s worth noting that Anderson spent the first four years of his career in San Antonio playing alongside Leonard, who is returning to the Raptors after they agreed to a blockbuster trade with the Clippers.
