World Cup Daily: Cape Verde the real winners on day of draws

The fifth day of World Cup action is in the books, and there is plenty more to come.

To start the day off, Cape Verde got a stunning result against one of the tournament favorites, holding Spain and star winger Lamine Yamal to a 0-0 draw. Then, Belgium and Egypt were also unable to be separated and fought to a 1-1 draw in Seattle.

Later, Saudi Arabia scored first but couldn’t hold on as Uruguay fought back to make it 1-1. Finally, Iran and New Zealand played out an absolute humdinger in Los Angeles, with the score ending 2-2.
