PG&E SAYS IT IS CUTTING POWER TO THESE COMMUNITIES BECAUSE OF DRY, WINDY WEATHER THAT COULD INCREASE FIRE RISK. SO HEREāS A LIVE LOOK AT PG&E EDIE OUTAGE MAP. Pacific Gas and Electric Co. said shutoffs could affect nearly 5,000 customers in parts of nine counties in California to prevent the possibility that its equipment could lead to vegetation fires.The utility warned that some parts of the following counties could be impacted by a Public Safety Power Shutoff on Wednesday and Thursday: ColusaGlennLakeNapaSonomaSolanoSutterTehamaYoloAs of Wednesday night, shutoffs appeared on PG&E outage map in Glenn, Colusa, Yolo, Napa, Sonoma and Sutter counties. North winds will increase on Wednesday and Thursday, heightening the fire danger, according to our weather team. North winds will increase on Wednesday and Thursday, heightening the fire danger, according to our weather team.
The strongest winds will be along and west of Interstate 5.
