USWNT legend Carli Lloyd is growing her family roster.

An expectant Lloyd showcased her growing baby bump on FOX’s 2026 World Cup pregame show on Friday ahead of the U.S. men’s national team’s opening match against Paraguay at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Lloyd, 43, first announced she’s expecting her second child with husband Brian Hollins back in April. The couple tied the knot in November 2016 and welcomed their first child, daughter Harper, in October 2024.

“Our family is growing, and we couldn’t be more grateful!” she captioned a slideshow of photos on Instagram, which included a shot of Harper in a big sister sweater. “We’re soaking in every bit of gratitude, love, and excitement as we prepare to welcome another little miracle into our lives. Being blessed with another baby still feels hard to believe, and our hearts are so full.”

Lloyd revealed that she’s due in September, but until then, it’s business as usual. Lloyd wore a patriotic, red-and-blue striped dress during the pregame show as she chatted about the significance of the World Cup returning to the U.S for the first time since 1994. “I was 12 years old,” recalled Lloyd, a two-time World Cup champion with the USWNT.

“(The 1994 FIFA World Cup) was probably the biggest tournament that I watched when I was younger before the ’99 World Cup team. And these guys were my inspiration and I looked up to them and it inspired me,” Lloyd added. “And now to watch the 1999 Women’s World Cup team win on home soil and then to be able to inspire so many other generations of people. … I’m just thinking about the impact of how I am part of that, and it’s pretty cool and I haven’t reflected on it a lot, but this is what World Cups do. They change the lives of so many people.Ā

Lloyd won the 2015 and 2019Ā FIFA Women’s World CupĀ alongside the USWNT and was named the FIFA Player of the YearĀ in 2015 andĀ 2016. She also scored game-winning goals to secure gold at the 2008 andĀ 2012 Olympics. She also won bronze with Team USA at the Tokyo Games in 2021.
