OFFICIAL 2026 BARCELONA-CATALUNYA GRAND PRIX GRID: Who starts where
A fascinating start to the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix awaits as Mercedes’ George Russell lines up on pole with the Ferrari of Lewis Hamilton alongside, the former team mates having finished Qualifying just 0.064s apart.
It’s world championship leader versus reigning World Champion on row two, aka Kimi Antonelli for Mercedes and Lando Norris for McLaren, while row three is an all-Red Bull affair with Max Verstappen heading Isack Hadjar.
McLaren’s Oscar Piastri starts from P7, followed by Racing Bulls’ Liam Lawson and Audi’s Nico Hulkenberg. And rounding out the top 10 is Charles Leclerc, who was left cursing himself after a driver error put his Ferrari into the wall early in Q3.
At the rear of the grid, Fernando Alonso will start his home race from the pit lane after Aston Martin changed power unit elements on his car. The Spaniard had qualified last, immediately behind team mate Lance Stroll.
The 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix starts at 1500 local time. Be sure to join our live coverage from 1400 here.
