Leland residents without power after vehicle damages equipment

LELAND, N.C. (WECT) – Many Duke Energy customers are without power in Leland on Monday morning.

According to Duke Energy, the outage is impacting 1,327 customers in the Lanvale Road area.

The outage was caused by a vehicle damaging equipment and was reported around 10 p.m. on June 14, the Duke Energy outage map reports.

The estimated time of restoration is 1:45 p.m.
