Fortnite Status posted on X: “Downtime for v40.41 begins tonight at 4 AM ET (8 AM UTC) to prepare for the end-of-season live event on Friday, June 5.”

Fortnite’s Chapter 7, Season 2 Showdown began on March 19 and will run until June 6.

However, before the season-ending event next week, there will be a Fortnite Community Day on Saturday, May 30.
